SportAir Microlights – Learn to fly at Goodwood in West Sussex

Welcome to SportAir Microlights! We have been teaching people to fly since September 2018 when husband and wife team, Kimberly and Richard Sims established SportAir at the stunning Goodwood Aerodrome nestled in the scenic South Downs on the coast of West Sussex near Chichester.

Our team can teach you to fly from your first trial lesson all the way through to your General Skills Test with our fleet of two microlight aircraft and 5 instructors with great availability. Our fleet consists of the robust and solid Ikarus C42 and the fast and agile Eurofox. Both powered by a reliable Rotax that uses just 12 litres of fuel an hour making them very efficient too!

Our high-wing fleet offers you incredible views of the countryside below, so if you’re looking for an experience flight you won’t be disappointed flying with us! You’ll be free to take as many pictures and videos as you would like, enjoy the experience of flying from the prestigious Goodwood Aerodrome and maybe even get to control the aircraft yourself (plus if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of the Spitfires)! Our trial flights start from 30 mins and our experience flights can take you on sight seeing tours around the Isle of Wight and all the way to the White Cliffs of Dover!
